This was our second visit, during the summer we loved it, so peaceful, we just put out pool and relaxed, then took a stroll to the beautiful garden and playpark. This weekend was a winter visit, the owner Colin is very helpful, even giving me rice we had forgotten, he also lent our group a bbq to use, we had a brilliant time, lovely wee old smoke house with turf burning, bbq then down to the pub for drinks and as my husband said a very good band and plenty of craic. Would definitely recommend Shepherds Rest. Oh and cows gave birth whilst we were there, we watched it on our cctv in the caravan lol....have to say everywhere is better when ur with Camping NI.

We stayed here for a weekend. It is a lovely clean site. Nicely laid out pitches. Lovely location. It was my sons birthday and the owner of the site very kindly allowed us to have a bouncy castle on site. The toilet and shower were spotless though we used our caravan facilities. There was a wonderful cottage with an open fire available for campers which was lovely. our kids really enjoyed it. We would def go back.
