Browns Bay Caravan & Camping Park is situated at the northern end of the Islandmagee peninsula on the east coast of County Antrim, Northern Ireland, located between the towns of Larne and Carrickfergus. It must surely rate as one of the prettiest caravan sites on which to settle for a well deserved break with its attractive small bay and good sandy beach it is a place of unspoilt beauty and a peaceful haven from which to explore the surrounding area.
The Caravan Park provides an outstanding experience for campers. With a sandy beach just beside the Caravan Park and with the rolling hills behind, you can contemplate a good days fishing or a nature walk in the nearby reserve or along the coastal path or of course just sit back and appreciate the vista in front of you. Browns Bay Caravan Site has indeed catapulted itself to the top of lists as a place to head for, for it is quintessentially a slice of the good life.
Local sports facilities include: Two golf clubs, two horse riding centres and there are some lovely walks in the area. Fishing continues to be the most common sport practiced locally.
Larne is the start of the famous and very beautiful A2 coastal route, giving the tourist access to some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. One of the most modern roll on/roll off ferry ports in the United Kingdom, Larne makes an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful countryside of County Antrim. The Borough boasts two of the famous nine glens of Antrim - Glenarm and Glencloy . Carnfunnock Country Park is a magnificent attraction comprising of country walks, a maze, 9 hole par 3 golf course, children's activity centre, camping and caravan park, time garden and collection of sundials. Also gift shop and coffee shop. The Park is packed full of exciting and unusual attractions to see and do, with over 473 acres of mixed woodland, colourful gardens, ponds, walking trails, beaches and coastline, not forgetting its spectacular panoramic views of the Antrim Coast and North Channel.

On-site facilities include a clean shower block with plenty of hot water. We have 24 Caravan Pitches, all hard standing with electric hook-up and water and 4 un-serviced grass Tent sites. A Warden is in attendance in the mornings and evenings, and the park is neat and well maintained.

Browns Bay Caravan Park opens from Good Friday each year to Sunday 30th September. Please note that check in time is after 14:00. on your day of arrival and Check out time is before 12:00 on the day of departure.

This is a quiet campsite with a beautiful view and wonderful atmosphere.
The area is kept exceptionally tidy and often you can see the park warden cleaning the beach.
The warden is friendly and makes you feel very welcome.
We had problems with our caravan, the battery died and the warden went out of his way to help us.
The area holds a beautiful walk along the headland
